OSBORN, James - James Osborn, a resident of Gentry for the past 11 years, died at his home last Thursday after an illness covering a period of about a year. Death was the result of diabetes. Funeral services were conducted from the Christian church Friday by Rev. Chas. J. Early with interment in the Gentry cemetery. Deceased was born March 16, 1890 at Flippin, Ark. where he resided for 27 years; moving to Gentry in 1917 where he spent the remainder of his life. He is survived by his wife and four children - Verma, Bernie, Imogene and Dwight - five brothers and four sisters. Mr. Osborn was a Christian man, having professed faith in the Master at the age of 18 and lived an earnest, devoted life to the end. He was a hard-working, thrifty citizen and will be missed, not only by his immediate family but by all citizens of this section. The Journal-Advance joins with the community in extending sympathy to the bereaved ones.
