Ola Sue Hill-Rainwater, 80, of Van Buren died Saturday, Dec. 27, 2008, in her home. She was born Oct. 21, 1928, in Fort Smith. She was a retired business teacher from Van Buren High School, graduated from Panama High School in 1946 and John Brown University in Siloam Springs in 1950 with a bachelor's degree, taught English, business or accounting at John Brown University, Southside High School in Fort Smith, Laneburg High School, Cedarville High School and Van Buren High School, a member of Summit Medical Center Auxiliary, First Baptist Church in Van Buren, Uniontown EHC and Miss Notes and the widow of Norton Rainwater.
Funeral will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Concord Baptist Church in Van Buren with burial at Hall Cemetery in Natural Dam under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home.
She is survived by two sons, Bruce and Dale Rainwater, both of Fort Smith; and one grandchild.
Pallbearers will be Calvin, Gale, Mike and Paul Rainwater, Roger Shepherd and Tom Smith.
The family will visit with friends from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
