Rev. Glen Rainwater, 82 of Van Buren, Arkansas died Friday, January 28, 2011 in his home.
He was a member of the Bethlehem Free Will Baptist Church, a retired welder for Burgess Sheet Metal Company, a member of a Pioneer Crawford County Family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Grace (Oliver) Rainwater and four brothers, Ralph, Norton, Earl and Doyle Rainwater.
He is survived by his wife, Doris Dyer Rainwater of the home; one daughter, Brenda Pendergrass and husband, Charles of Van Buren; two sons, Virgil Glen Rainwater and wife, Fran of Fort Smith, Calvin Lee Rainwater and wife, Cheryle of Van Buren; one sister, Vera Shepherd of Bidville, Arkansas; two brothers, Vernon Rainwater & Carrol Rainwater both of Praire Grove, Arkansas; five grandchildren, Chris Rainwater and wife Rachael, Alicia Jones and husband, Ricky, Blake Rainwater and wife, Amber, Jessica Rainwater and Hannah Syrock; four great grandchildren, Kalli Jones, Kayla Jones, Easton Rainwater and Francesca Rainwater.
Funeral services were Monday January 31st 2011 at 10:00am at Bethlehem Free Will Baptist Church with Reverend James Spears and Reverend Randall Ray officiating. Burial was at Hall Cemetery.
