E.A. "Jack" Shaw, 85, of Rogers, died Saturday, Sept. 26, at St. Mary's Hospital. He was born Oct. 4, 1906, at Milton, Ill., to Owen and Nella Hoover Shaw. He was a Mason and a member of Central United Methodist Church of Rogers. He retired after 37 years of work for the U.S.D.A., where he was chairman of the board of the Federal Grain Supervision. He moved to the Rogers area in 1973 from Elmhurst, Ill.

Survivors are his wife, Loise Stucker Shaw of the home; a son, Lawrence Shaw of Villa Park, Ill.; a daughter, Audrey Dusendschon, of Colleyville, Texas; a brother, Creed Shaw of Milton, Ill.; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Peace Lutheran Church with the Rev. Richard A. Solberg officiating. Burial will be at the Rogers Cemetery. Visitation is set for 6-8 p.m. today at Callison-Lough Funeral Home of Rogers.

Memorials may be made to Central United Methodist Church or to Peace Lutheran Church.

BEDFORD, Texas — Loise Shaw, 84, of Bedford, Texas, died May 11, 2000, in Richland Hills, Texas. She was born Jan 12, 1916, in Omaha, Neb.

She lived in Elmhurst, Ill. for 23 years, in Rogers for 19 years and in Bedford for the past eight years.

She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, a duplicate bridge director for over 15 years in Rogers and was a member of the United Methodist Church of Rogers.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Elmo Audrian "Jack" Shaw.

Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Lawrence Shaw and Joanne of Prestbury-Aurora, Ill.; one daughter and son-in-law, Audrey Dusendschon and David of Southlake, Texas; and grandchildren, Jack Dusendschon of Denver, Colo., Deana McGarr and M .Casey, both of McKinney, Texas, Kathryn Mehl of Flossmoor, Ill., and Dorothy and Drostan Hall of Wheaton, Ill.

Services will he at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Peace Lutheran Church in Rogers with pastor Dick Solberg and pastor Erik Boye officiating.

Burial will be in Rogers Cemetery under direction of Callison-Lough Funeral Home of Rogers.

Visitation will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the church.

Memorials may to made to the Scleroderma Foundation in Danvers, Mass.
