Annie Mae Kennedy, 94, of Quitman, departed this life Nov. 25, 2004.
She was born Dec. 7, 1909, at Damascus, to John R. and Lillie Odom Pierce.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a son, Carthie.
She was a homemaker, gardener, loving mother and a member of the Methodist church.
She leaves four sons, J.D. and wife, Edith Kennedy, Doyle and wife, Dean Kennedy, Randal and wife, Sylvia Kennedy, all of Quitman, and Wendell and wife, Ruth of Conway; two sisters, Clio Burks and Lois Sneed, both of California; two half sisters, Betty Mae Wheeler and Norma Pierce, both of North Little Rock; two half brothers, Fariel J. Pierce and Johnny Ray Pierce, both of Little Rock; 15 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; and 17 great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Bill Kennedy, James Eddie Kennedy, Ricky Kennedy, Donnie Kennedy, Michael Kennedy and Mark Kennedy. Honorary pallbearers will be Bobby Kennedy, Randy Kennedy and Johnny Kennedy.
