Carthie Lee (C L) Kennedy, 66, of Quitman died Tuesday (April 17, 2001).
Born Aug. 27, 1934, in Fairbanks, north of Quitman, he was a son of the late Jasper Drew Kennedy and Annie Kennedy of Quitman. He was a self-employed construction worker for 30 years. He also worked for the Arkansas Highway and Transportation Department.
He is also survived by his wife, Lou Eva Goff Kennedy; three sons, Donnie Kennedy, Bobby Kennedy and Michael Kennedy, all of Quitman; four brothers, J.D. Kennedy, Doyle Kennedy and Randall Kennedy, all of Quitman, and Wendell Kennedy of Conway; 11 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
