*Obituary
Benton County Democrat
Thursday, June 17, 1909
Mrs. W.W. Browning was born on Prince Edward Island Nov. 27, 1837 and died at the county farm June 4, 1909 at 7 a.m. She had been in feeble health for some time and her friends knew that the end was near but they did not think of its coming so soon. She was seemingly as well as for some time before, when she was suddenly seized with heart failure and was gone in a few minutes. She was converted and joined the Missionary Baptist Church in girlhood. She lived a Christian life, died in the triumph of a living faith. Her husband preceded her to heaven about two months. Her funeral was conducted by the writer at the county farm and we laid her body by the side of her husband in the cemetery at Bentonville. R.E.I. Bearden.
