SILOAM SPRINGS — Noma Ann Browning, 90, of Siloam Springs died Sunday, Nov. 19, 1995 at Siloam Springs Memorial Hospital. Born Dec. 1, 1904, in Earlsboro, Pottawatomie County, Okla., she was the daughter of Pearl Hilmon and Mella May Vancleave Thomason.

She had lived in Siloam Springs since 1923 and had been an employee of John Brown University and was a retired employee of Bear Brand Hosiery factory. She was a member of the Pentecostal Holiness Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Willis I. Browning in 1951.

Survivors include one son, Willis Browning Jr. of Gentry; two daughters, Noma Jean West of Clute, Texas and Margaret Mae Friend of Cullman, Ala.; five grandchildren, Linda Gassen of Richwood, Texas, Terry A. West of Lake Jackson, Texas, Carolyn Jones of Gentry, Marilyn Turner of Siloam Springs, Peggy Friend of Cullman, Ala. and three great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, at Wasson Memorial Chapel, Siloam Springs, with Rev. Ray Chambers officiateing. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery with funeral arrangements under the direction of Wasson Funeral Home, Siloam Springs.
