ROY JASPER OWENS
Roy Jasper Owens, 58, Siloam Springs, died Nov. 30 in Washington Regional Medical Center. Born Dec. 24, 1918, in Little River County, Ark., he was the son of William Harrison and Maude Bishop Owens, and was self-employed, having lived most of his life in the Siloam Springs area.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Jane Owens of the home; one son, Mourice Owens, Siloam Springs; one daughter-in-law, Della Spear Owens, Siloam Springs; three, brothers, Ted and Chester Owens, both of Siloam Springs, and Riley Owens, Baldwin Park, Calif.; three sisters, Mrs. Bertha Lacefield, DeQueen, Mrs. Virgie Murray, Monticello, and Mrs. Hazel Roberts, Fort Smith.
Services will at 2 p.m. Monday in Wasson Memorial Chapel, Siloam Springs, with the Rev. Horton McDonald officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery under direction of Wasson Funeral Home.
