Mrs. Marie Phyllis Smith, 64, of Crossett, died Wednesday, September 30, 2009, at her residence. Mrs. Smith was a native of Indianola, MS, but a resident of Crossett, a retired waitress, and a member of Hope Freewill Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, James Thomas & Alice "Minnie" Smith Mills.
Mrs. Smith is survived by one daughter, Phyllis Reynolds of Mesquite, TX; two brothers, Thomas Ray Mills of Crossett, and James Clayton Mills of Chotia, OK; one grandchild, Kelvin Reynolds, and a host of other relatives & friends.
Funeral services are graveside at Beech Creek Cemetery, Friday, October 2, 11 a.m., with Bro. Thomas Ray Mills officiating. Visitation is Thursday, October 1, 6-8 p.m. at Cromwell Funeral Home, Inc. Honorary pallbearers are Joe McDill, Paul McDill, James Mills, Anthony Mills, J. Edwards, & Kelvin Reynolds. Arrangements by Cromwell Funeral Home, Inc.
