MRS. RUBY PHIPPS
Mrs. Joseph Delmer (Ruby) Phipps, 73-year-old resident of the Robinson Community, Route 6, Fayetteville, died at 6:30 a.m., Tuesday, September 28 in City Hospital, Fayetteville, following an extended illness.
Born September 1, 1903, in the Robinson Community, the daughter of Henry E. and Mary C. (Howe) Snodgrass.
She was a Methodist and resident of Robinson for most of her life. Mrs. Phipps was the wife of the late Joseph Delmer Phipps who died in 1941.
Survivors include: two daughters, Mrs. Iva Dean Ruble of Siloam Springs and Mrs. Norma Lea Smith of Escondido, Calif.; three grandchildren; three brothers, Ira and Roy Snodgrass of the Robinson Community and Alva Snodgrass of Lufkin, Texas and one sister, Mrs. Dollie Luttrell of Fayetteville, Ark.
At press time, arrangements were incomplete, but services were being planned for Thursday. Arrangements are under the direction of Wasson Funeral Home.
