Nellie Young
Nellie Mae Young, 87, a resident of Rogers, died April 6, 1993, at her home. She was born May 10,1905, in Pea Ridge, the daughter of Zack Bolain and Ann Artaberry Bolain.
She had lived in this area since 1957, after spending 16 years in California. She was a member of the Sunny Side Baptist Church. She was a homemaker.
She is survived by one son, William Ray Young of Gemet, Calif.; two daughters, Alta Mae Dill of New Philadelphia, Ohio, and Mary Jane Jarecki of Rogers; nine grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Christopher C. Young in 1970, and a brother, Johnny Bolain.
Graveside services and burial will be held April 8, at 2 p.m., at the Pea Ridge Cemetery, with the Rev. Marvin Stephens officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of the Burns Funeral Home of Rogers.
