Beverly Ruth Young, 4-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Garth Young, died at the home of her parents in San Diego, Calif. Friday morning of scarlet fever according to a message received here by Mrs. Young's mother, Mrs. J.F. Smith, 404 West Elm street. Mrs. Young is a sister of Miss Alma Smith of the Miller insurance office and is well known in Rogers.

Burial rites for Beverly Ruth Young, 3-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Garth B. Young of San Diego, Calif., were held Monday morning at 10 o'clock at the Rogers cemetery where the body was laid to rest. A brief service, attended by a few friends of the child's relatives, was conducted by Rev. Oliver Cook, pastor of the Community church, Severy, Kan. and a longtime friend of the family with J.W. Bryant, undertaker, in charge. Mrs. Young, who before her marriage was Miss Grace Smith of this city, is the daughter of Mrs. J.F. Smith and the sister of Miss Emma Smith and of C.H. and J. Frank Smith, all of Rogers.

YOUNG, Beverly Ruth - {from Hebron) Mr. and Mrs. Gail Young of San Diego, Calif. visited with her brother, J.F. Smith, this week. Their little four-year old daughter died in San Diego two months ago and the body was sent to the family burial plot in Rogers. As soon as the family can dispose of their drug store there they will return to the Ozarks,
