John V. Bryant

HIGHFILL — John V. "Jack" Bryant, 79, of Highfill died Aug. 30, 2002, at Siloam Springs Memorial Hospital. He was born April 9, 1923, in Highfi11 to Jesse O. and Cassie Monday Bryant. He was a lifetime resident of Highfill, where he was a dairy farmer, raised livestock, coon dogs and rat terriers. He was an Army veteran of World War II and an avid hunter and fisherman. He was a member of Pea Ridge, Clear Creek and NWA Coon Hunters clubs. He was past president of the Highfill Riding Club.

Survivors include one sister, Ida Jean Bryant of the home and cousins.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Highfill United Methodist Church with the Rev. Dewey Dykes officiating. Burial will be in Highfill Cemetery.

Arranganents are by Wasson Funeral Hone in Siloam Springs.
