HIGHFILL -- Jerry Dell James, 68, of Highfill died June 16, 2007, at his home. He was born Sept. 9, 1938, in Plainview, Texas, to Walter Odell and Edith Taylor James.

He was a longtime resident of Northwest Arkansas and was a member of the First Baptist Church. He was a farmer and enjoyed antique cars and tractors. He married Noretta Bolinger on Oct. 31, 1956.

Survivors include his wife, Noretta, of the home; his mother of Highfill; two sons, Fred James and wife Wanda of Siloam Springs and Jason James and wife Janet of Springtown; one daughter, Marquetta Lucas and husband Rusty of Gentry; nine grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at First Baptist Church in Highfill with the Rev. Bruce Holland and the Rev. Roger Robins officiating.

Burial will follow in the Highfill Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. today at Wasson Funeral Home in Siloam Springs, online at www.wassonfuneralhome.com.

HIGHFILL -- Noretta James, 69, of Highfill died Jan. 14, 2008, at Circle of Life Hospice. She was born May 5, 1938, in Springlake, Texas, to Louis Bolinger and Mildred Franklin Bolinger.

She was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church in Highfill and the Heartbeat of the Ozarks Car Club. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Dell James.

Survivors include two sons; one daughter; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the Highfill Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Highfill Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Wasson Funeral Home in Siloam Springs.

Pallbearers wll be members of the Heartbeat of the Ozarks Car Club.
