Winfred C. Barnes, 56, of Route 6 died early Friday morning in a Little Rock hospital. He was a former employe of the Missouri Pacific Railroad and a member of the Victory Baptist Church. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Lillie Belle Woods Barnes of El Dorado; two sons, Charles Winfred Barnes of Little Rock and Jerry Beamon Barnes of Kansas City, Mo.; two step-sons, Joe Henry Thompson and David Harmon Thompson of El Dorado; five brothers, Nelson B. Barnes of El Dorado, Joseph Barnes of Rolla, Carl Barnes and Chris Barnes, both of Goshen, Ore., and Thomas Barnes of Hermitage; two sisters, Mrs. Lutricia Naramore and Mrs. Helen Dunn, both of Klamath Falls, Ore. Funeral arrangements will be announced by Pratt Funeral Home. (The El Dorado Times - May 8, 1964)
