April 21, 1967 - July 1, 2022
Monty C. “Cool Breeze” Barnes, 55 of Strong, AR passed away Friday, July 1, 2022 at the John R Williamson Hospice House in El Dorado, AR after a lengthy illness.
Monty was born April 21, 1967 in Dallas, TX to the union of Mervin Barnes and Bonnie Wooten Barnes.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, Patricia Ann Tillman, and Debra Dimler, one brother, Frank Barnes.
Monty loved the horse races, politics and was a big fan of Elvis Presley.
Survivors include two sisters, Gloria Chadwick and husband Wayne of Strong, Tammy Smith of El Dorado, two brothers, Tony Barnes and wife Stacy, Buddy Barnes and wife Billie, both of Strong, his aunt, Janey Barnes of Monticello, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 5, 2022 at the Bailey Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 6, 2022 at the Green Grove Chapel with Bro. Ricky Smith officiating. Interment will be in the Green Grove Cemetery under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home of El Dorado, AR.
Pallbearers will be Timothy Wells, Zachary Rowland, Alexander Bale, Dylan Barnes, William Dimler, and Dakota Martinez.
