Omer Z. Estes, 83, of Brockwell died Thursday, December 8, 1977 at the Calico Rock Medical Center.
The son of Charley and Sarah Elizabeth Harmon Estes, he was a farmer, a member of the Church of Christ and a resident of Izard County all his life.
Survivors include: his wife, Alta Pearle Estes of the home; 2 sons, C. H. Estes of Melbourne, Arkansas and Kenneth Estes of Calico Rock, Ark.; 1 daughter, Wilma Jennings of North Little Rock, Ark.; 1 brother, Albert Estes of Batesville, Ark.; 2 sisters, Olam Harmon of Newburg, Ark. and Minnie Lucke of Austin, Texas.
Funeral services were held Saturday, December 10 at 2:00 p.m. at Howard Chapel with Howard Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Burial was at the Roselawn Cemetery near Calico Rock.
Pallbearers were: Ricky Estes, Randy Estes, Jay Jennings, Danto Jennings, Dennie Copeland and Noel Smith.
