Adron I. Bell, 72, of Fayetteville died Dec. 3, 1985 at a Fayetteville hospital. He was born Aug. 27, 1913, at Thorny, the son of Leonard and Ollie Gardner Bell. He was a civil service employee of the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Fayetteville and retired in 1973. He was also an employee of the J.C. Penney Co. and retired in 1978. He was a Navy veteran of World War II, a member of the Central Assembly of God Church and a lifetime resident of the area.

Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Cora Marie Williams Bell of the home; one sister, Mrs. W.E. (Alice Irene) Martin of Garland, Tex.; and several nieces and nephews.

Services were Friday, Dec. 6, at Moore's Chapel of Fayetteville with the Rev. Otha Tackett officiating. Burial was at Fairview Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers were Louis Carr, Paul Wilcox, Kenneth Keeney, Lambert Parrish, Roy Howard and Darrin Williams.

Cora Marie Bell, 70, of Fayetteville died Jan. 3, 1996, at Northwest Nursing Center. She was born Oct. 21, 1925, at Pettigrew, the daughter of Joe and Maggie Parrott Williams. She was preceded in death by her husband, Adron I. Bell, in 1985. She was a retired employee of Southwestern Bell Telephone and a Protestant.

Survivors include two brothers, Fred Williams of Elkins and Billy Bob Williams of Fayetteville; seven nieces and nephews; seven great-nieces and nephews.

Graveside services were held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 6, at Fairview Memorial Gardens under the direction of Moore's Chapel with the Rev. Lynville Eaton officiating.
