FAYETTEVILLE — Letha Opal McKinney Brown Bell, 90, of Fayetteville, formerly of Waldron, died Tuesday, July 6, 1999, at her home. She was a graduate of Greenwood High School, an employee in the garment industry for 30 years, a cook at Bates Elementary School and a volunteer cook for EOA Nutrition for the elderly. She was a member of the Baldwin Christian Church and Prairie Grove Christian Church and was the widow of Albert W. Brown, Sr. and Thomas B. Bell.
Funeral will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Moore's Chapel of Fayetteville with burial at Hester Cemetery in Fayetteville
She is survived by three daughters, Peggy J. Barth of Sun City, Ariz., Fleeta M. Gentry of Springdale and Lorraine Stacy of Clackamas, Ore.; two sisters, Kathryn McCormick and Lois Earlene Boyd, both of Fayetteville; two brothers, Bill McKinney of Alma and Ben McKinney of Springdale; 17 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons and great-grandsons.
