Mrs. J. W. Carson born March 28, 1880, died June 20, 1937 at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Elbert Lamb. She married August 7, 1898 to J. W. Carson. They had eight children. She was united with the Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church at age 16. Survivors are J. W. Carson, her husband, Elmer Carson and Mrs. Bill Storkey of Los Angeles, California, Mrs. Elbert Lamb, Henry Carson, Virgil Carson, Dallas Carson and Aletha Carson all of Gassville.
