Mrs. Betty J. Carson, 70, of Midway, passed away Friday, April 18, 2008 at her home. Funeral Services will be held 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, April 23 at Roller Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 12 P.M. until 9 P.M. Tuesday at Roller Funeral Home with the family receiving friends from 5 until 8 P.M. Burial will be in Pilgrims Rest Cemetery.

Mrs. Carson was born Dec. 7, 1937 in St. Joseph, MO to Raymond H. and Anna Lewis Lee.

She was a member of the Eagles Club Ladies Auxialiary and enjoyed quilting.

Survivors include 2 sons: Danny Comstock and Shane Carson, both of Mountain Home. 4 daughters: Rose Donlan of Independence, MO, Debra Cornwell of Shanopia, Kansas, Linda Vargas of Independence, MO and Betty Jo Tompkins of Ft. Carson, Colorado. 5 brothers: Donnie, Ronnie, Larry, Tommy and Bob Lee, all of Kansas City; 2 sisters: Helen Lee of Kansas City and Mary Clark of Raytown, MO. 23 grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren. A dear friend, Diane Carey.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Paul Carson and 2 sons: Raymond Comstock and John Comstock, Jr.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the Hospice House of the Ozarks.
