NORFORK-- Services for J.B. Clark of Norfork will be at 10AM Monday at Old Galatia Church at Norfork with the Rev. Lee Clark and the Rev. Forrest Bynum officiating. Mr. Clark died Thursday (July 11, 1996) at the Medical Center of Calico Rock. He was 78.
Visitation will be 9AM-9PM Sunday at Roller Funeral Home with the family receiving friends from 6-8PM. Burial will be a Galatia Cemetery.
A lifetime area resident, Mr. Clark was born July 15, 1917, in Woodruff County, a son of Lee and Effie Moore Clark. He and the former Ernestine Adams were married May 20, 1938, at Melbourne. Mr. Clark worked as a press operator for Mar-Bax Shirt Co. He was a member of Norfork Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, at home; six sons, the Rev. Lee Clark of Mt. Home, Louie Clark of Calico Rock, Gary Clark of Rogers, Jerry Clark of Gassville, Glen Clark of Southaven, MS and Jason Clark, at home; six daughters, Maudie Weza of Orfino, Idaho, Sharon Rowe of Lampe, MO and Madelina Wood, Barbara Dickerson, Brenda Reynolds and Jacquelyne Stubbs, all of Norfork; three brothers, Franklin Lucy of Louisville, KY, David Wayne Lucy of Mississippi and Elzora Lucy of Calico Rock; a step brother, Kenneth Lucy of Swifton; a sister Anna Gay ???
of Old Joe; a step sister, Lois Henderson of Norfork; 30 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, two brothers and a sister.
