Leo H. Clark, 57, of Old Joe died Saturday at Baxter General Hospital. A lifetime resident of Old Joe, he was a retired construction worker. He was a member of the Galatia Assembly of God Church.
Mr. Cark was born March 21, 1922, the son of Effie Moore Clark and Lee Clark. On May 8, 1942, he was married at Melbourne to Evaline Smith.
Survivors include his wife, at home; three sons, Leo Gail Clark of Mt. Home, L.H. Clark, Jr. of Jacksonville, and Derwin Walter Clark at home; four daughters, Anna Walters of Old Joe, Bonnie Cantrell of Salesville, Ruby Adams of Briarcliff and Norma Moss of Van Buren; six brothers, J.B. Clark and George Clark, both of Norfork, Franklin Lucy of Louisville, KY and Buck Clark, Elzoria Clark and Kenneth Lucy Cark, all of Hugo, OK; three sisters, Kathryn Taylor and Lois Hendrson, both of Norfork, and Anna Jay Beard of Hugo; 11 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held at 2PM Monday at the Galatia Assembly of God Church with Rev. Jack Langston officiating. Interment was in the Galatia Cemetery. Arrangements were under the direction of the Roller Funeral Home.
Pallbearers were Marvis Sherrill, Henry Pruitt, Gene Adams, Ralph Parnell, Harlin Baker and Eudell Southard.
