Ravenden-Willie J Brown, aged 78, of Ravenden (Lawrence County) died Thursday. He was a retired farmer, a member of Church of Christ and a Mason.

Survivors include his wife: two sons, Lester C and Willie Ray Brown, both of Ravenden; two daughters, Miss Ruby Mae Brown and Mrs. Dorothy Fay Wells, both of Ravenden; a brother, J.E. Brown of Fayetteville, and a sister, Mrs. Lena Adams of Tuckerman.

Funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. today at the Ravenden Church of Christ. Burial will be in Opposition Cemetery by Higginbotham Funeral Service.
