Funeral services for Mrs. Elizabeth Byars, 68, wife of Clyde Byars, 554 Chestnut St., were held Sunday afternoon at 3:30 p.m. at Proctors. Burial was in Memorial Park Cemetery. Mrs. Byars died Friday night in a local hospital. She was an active member of the First Baptist Church, and of the Eastern Star, and was a cosmetic saleslady. Besides her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Carl Dean, of North Little Rock, and Mrs. Malcolm Grabert of Mobile, Ala.; two sisters, Mrs. W. B. Welch of Camden, and Mrs. Dave Wilkins of Newellton, La.; three brothers, Buddy and Harry Smith of North Little Rock, and Ralph Smith of Monroe, La., and three grandchildren.
