Obituary
Odas O. Fletcher, 84, of Gassville died Monday (Nov 16, 1992) at Baxter County Regional Hospital.
Services will be at 2PM Wednesday at the Wade and Cross Street Church of Christ with Bro. Irvin Barnes and Bro. Barney Owens officiating. Visitation will be from 9AM to 9PM Tuesday at the Roller Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8PM and burial will be at the Burnt Schoolhouse Cemetery.
Mr. Fletcher was a livelong Gassville resident, born Aug 8, 1908, in Crescent, OK. He was a retired lumber grader at a lumber mill and served in the United States Navy during World War II. He married Loal P. Harrington on Jan 12, 1946, at Mt. Home. He also carved fiddles and made banjos.
He is survived by his wife, Lola Fletcher of the home; a daughter and son-in-law, Barbara and Irvin Barnes of Springfield, MO; four brothers, W.P Fletcher of Bowman, Ray Fletcher of Lake City, Cecil Fletcher of Springdale, Doyle Fletcher of Jonesboro; one sister, Elsie Thaxton of Blytheville; four grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by both parents, Tom N. and Elizabeth L Burruss Fletcher, three brothers and three grandchildren.
