Ancel Fletcher
Son of William Halley and Dorothy Hamilton Fletcher.
Married Julia Angeline Beavers about 1870.
Born Galliapolis, Gallia County, Ohio, Jun 1850 (the gravestone incorrectly has the birth year as 1857).
Died Baxter County, Arkansas, August 25, 1902.
Ancel Fletcher came to Arkansas with his family around 1855. The family settled near the White River at the south base of a mountain that would become known as Fletcher Mountain.

August 29, 1902
C.A. Haskill informs us that Ancil (sic) Fletcher died at his home in Barren Creek Township, Aug 25, and was buried at Haskill burial ground on the 26th. The deceased died of billous fever. He was about 45 years old and had quite a large family.
