CHAMBERS, Evaline J. REYNOLDS - Mrs. Evaline J. Chambers, consort of Dr. Elisha W. Chambers, deceased, sister of the Rev. P.G. Reynolds, deceased, and of Mrs. Nancy J. Chandler of Denton, Texas, was born in Cobb county, Georgia April 8th, 1833 and departed this life at the residence of her son, A.E. Chambers, near Seba, Benton county, Ark. March 30th and her remains were interred in Center Point cemetery Saturday morning, April 1st, 1893 the Rev. Sam'l. McIntosh officiating in the burial ceremony. Sister Chambers professed religion and joined the M.E. church in her girlhood, was married to her husband, Dr. Elisha W. Chambers, deceased, in Georgia in 1851 and was received with him into the M.E. church, South at Center Point, Benton county, Ark. by the Rev. David Sturdy, deceased, in 1879. A friend and neighbor.
