Gordon Oct.25,1917-Dec.6,2004
Gordon Parker, 87, of Paris, died Monday, Dec. 6, 2004. He was retired from Cloyes Gear Plant, a member and deacon of the Church of Christ in Paris, attended the Senior Citizens Center in Paris and loved to work on his Model "T" and Model "A" cars. He was preceded in death by his wife, Sylvia "Wright" Parker and son, Terry Gordon Parker. Funeral service was at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 8 in the Church of Christ at Paris with burial in the Oakwood Cemetery in Paris under the direction of Roller Funeral Home of Paris. He is survived by two daughters, Paula Gonzalez-Abello of Houston, Tex., and Sonja Fletcher of Paris; five grandchildren, Joe Ceniceros, Jr., Steve Ceniceros, Andy Ceniceros, Christie Fulton, and Brian Fletcher; and 12 great-grandchildren.
