John Paul Parker, 67, of Paris, Arkansas died Saturday, March 28, 2009 in Paris. He was born March 1, 1942 in Midway, Arkansas to Darrell Lee & Mamie Jane Berry Parker. He was retired from Cloyes Gear Company after 40 years of employment and was a member of Southside Baptist Church in Paris. He was preceded in death by his father, Darrell Lee Parker and a sister, Juanita Gail Rutherford. Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Nora Parker; 2 daughters, Paula Parker & husband, Raymond Leung of Little Rock, Arkansas & Nichole Lee Parker & partner, Sefton Bates of Wellington, New Zealand; a brother, James Darrell Parker of Cecil, Arkansas and numerous other family and friends.
Pallbearers were Jr Sims, Larry Emerson, Pedro Hilliard, James Hilliard, Richard Slaughter, Sr, Tim Sims and Tommy Sims.
