April 1822 - May 29, 1915
State of Tennessee, Sumner County Court January Term, Jan. 19th 1909.
A paper writing purporting to be the last will and testament of Martha M. Parker dec'd, was this day produced in open Court for probate, when Miss Camille Maddux, Mrs. Mattie Gray, & Mrs. Carrie Ward
(Page 88) being in open court duly sworn, deposed and said they were each intimately acquainted with Mrs. Martha M. Parker during her lifetime, that they each were acquainted with the hand writing of Mrs. Martha M. Parker, that the said writing was generally known among Mrs. Martha M. Parker's acquaintances, that said paper writing presented for probate as said will, they each verily believe in every part was the handwriting of said Mrs. Martha M. Parker dec'd, and the signature of said Martha M. Parker thereto was genuine; and J. H. Sarver being duly sworn said that said paper writing was found after the death of said Mrs. Martha M. Parker by himself, Mrs. J. H. Sarver and W. A. Parker in Mrs. Martha M. Parker's private box locked therein among her valuable papers, whereupon said paper writing was ordered recorded as said last will and testament of said Martha M. Parker dec'd.
