FUNERAL THURSDAY FOR MRS. D. WRIGHT
Mother of 16 Children and Step-Mother of Another;
dies at 56
Mrs. Dora Belle Huckaby Wright, 56, died Wednesday morning at 7 o'clock at her home at Wheeler.
Funeral services were held Thursday at 2 p.m. at White Oak church with Rev. O.L. Lierly officiating.
Mrs. Wright was born Dec. 18, 1881 at Wheeler and at the age of 19 was married to Robert Wright, who died in November, 1925. There were 16 children and Mrs. Wright also reared one stepson, Carl Wright. She was a member of the Baptist church.
Surviving are: Jesse Wright of Edinburg, Texas, Ferrell of Siloam Springs, Forrest of Wheeler, Loy of Siloam Springs, Lester of Kelso, Wash., Etha Luther of Summers, Leo Wright, Cecil Wright, Edna Lankford, Virgil Wright, Reba Wright, Kenneth Wright, Hazel and Daisy Wright of Siloam Springs. She leaves 28 grandchildren, seven sisters and four brothers.
