SPRINGDALE— G. Arlis Wright, 79, of Springdale died Feb. 5, 2005, at his home. He was born June 7, 1925, in the Pilgrim's Rest community to Harry Elmer and Irena Been Wright. A lifetime resident of the area, he married Clara Fields on March 28, 1947 in Springdale. He served in the Army during World War II and the Korean War. He was a route salesman for Foremost Dairy, Guy's Foods and Coca Cola. He delivered for Harps after retiring. He was a Baptist.

Survivors include his wife of the home, two sons, Mike Wright and wife Barbara of Fayetteville, Marion Wright of Springdale; two daughters, Marcia Stamps and husband Rick of West Fork, Belinda Reynolds and husband John of Tontitown; a sister, Arlene Farmer of Rogers; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Sisco Funeral Chapel in Springdale. Burial will be at Zion Cemetery.

Visitation will be Monday from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
