NAIL, Henrietta - Mrs. Henrietta Nail, mother of the six Nail brothers living east of Lowell in the Nail settlement, died at 8 o'clock this morning at the home of her son, Hunter, from pneumonia and complications. Mrs. Nail has not been enjoying good health for several months but her last illness was of only a few days duration. Mrs. Nail came from Tennessee to Benton County with her parents when she was a small child. She was 87 years and some months old at the time of her death and had lived the the same house ever since coming to this county. The deceased is survived by six sons, John, Hunter, Joe, Alec, Charley and Bill. Her husband died about thirty-five years ago. Her eldest son, father of Everett Nail of Rogers, has also been dead many years. Until her recent illness Mrs. Nail continued to live in the old Nail homestead. Standing in the front door of her home Mrs. Nail could see the lights in the homes of her six sons. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 o'clock Sunday at Goad's Spring near Lowell. Funeral arrangements are in charge of J.W. Bryant.
