ROGERS — William T. Nail, 81, of Rogers died Nov. 17, 1995, at a Rogers nursing home. He was born June 27, 1914, in Baileyton, Ala., to William Andrew and Callie Sue Roberts Nail. He served in the U.S. Army Medical Corps from November 1934-June 1939. He retired from the Panama Canal Zone government in April 1965 after 25 years as a police officer. He moved to Rogers in 1965 and founded and operated Ozark Industrial Security Inc. from 1971-82, and operated William T. Nail Corp., a Christmas tree farm, from 1982 to present. He was a Master Mason and a 32nd Degree Mason, a life member of the Chargens Lodge, Abou Saad Temple of Balboa, Canal Zone, and of Grand Lodge of Massachusetts, and was a member of Scimitar Temple of Little Rock, the Northwest Arkansas Shrine Club and the Panama Canal Society and was a Shrine clown.

Masonic memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Callison-Lough Funeral Home in Rogers.

Memorials may be made to Shriners Hospital for Crippled Children, Sanford Avenue at Kings Highway, Shreveport, La. 71103.

ROGERS — Alice Ruth (Pearce) Nail, 90, of Rogers, passed away on Sept. l5, 2010, at Springdale Health and Rehabilitation In Springdale, Ark. She was born Nov, 9, 1919, in Rock Island, Ill., to the late Ernest Leroy and Ruth Elnora Kinnamon Pearce.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, William T. "Red" Nail in 1995.

Alice was a graduate of Augustana College in Rock Island and held her master's degree in psychology. She moved to Rogers in 1964, after having lived in the Panama Canal Zone for over 30 years.

Alice belonged to several bridge groups, bowling leagues, NARFE, the Panama Canal Society of NW Arkansas and was a former reporter for the Panama Canal Record of NW Arkansas. She was also a member of the Daughters of the Nile.

Survivors include her daughter, Lisa (Steve) Graves; granddaughter, Stephanie Graves, Grandson, Bryan (Kathy) Graves, and a great-grandchild, James Lee Graves, all of Rogers, Ark.

Pets and wildlife were very important to Alice; in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to your local animal shelter/humane society, or The Morning Star Wildlife Rehabilitation Center, Attn: Lynn Sciumbato, 13844 Mount Olive Road, Gravette, AR 72736.

The family would like to express their thanks and appreciation to the staff at Springdale Health and Rehabilitation and The Circle of Life Hospice for the love and care given to Alice while she resided there.

No services are planned. Inturnment will be at Benton County Memorial Park in Rogers, Ark.

Cremation arrangements are by Callison-Lough Funeral Home in downtown Rogers.
