WOOTEN, John R. - Our friend Bud Wooten was in town Monday for the first time in a long time. He reported the sad news of his father's death which took place last Wednesday night, May 18, 1892 after a long and tedious sickness. The immediate cause of his death was heart disease. John R. Wooten was 84 years old and had been a good citizen of Benton county for many years. We sympathize with all the bereaved. Mrs. Wooten, wife of the deceased, is very sick and has been so for some time. We hope she will soon recover.
