Funeral services for Lunie Gilbert Pruitt, aged 73, who died at his home near Norfork, Thursday, were held at the Assembly of God Church at Hopewell, Friday afternoon. Rev. Walter Hutson officiated. burial was in Galatia Cemetery, with the Hall Funeral Service in charge.
Mr. Pruitt was born at Iuka and practically all his life was spent in Izard and Baxter Counties. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Minnie Pruitt; two daughters, Mrs. Harvey McGowan and Mrs. James Hale; two sons, Amon and Henry Pruitt; eight grandchildren, four sisters and two brothers.
