Euna May Pruitt, 88

Euna May Pruitt, 88, of Gassville passed away Tuesday morning, Jan. 21, 2003, at Gassville Nursing Center. A funeral wiil be 2 p.m. Friday at Roller Funeral Home with the Rev. Harold Barnett officiating.

She was born to Samuel and Maude Alice (McMahon) Hopper on March 5, 1914, at Gassville. She married Alfred Pruitt on December 11, 1932, at Monkey Run. She was a restaurant cook in her working years and enjoyed sewing, needlework, crocheting, her flowers and birdwatching. She loved to visit with her friends and family, and coconut cake was a specialty.

She is survived by her sister, Fannie Marler of Monkey Run; four sisters-in-law; a brother-in law; and a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; three brothers, Earl, Cuay and Odell; and her sister, Lona Hopper Walton.

Visitation will be from noon-9 p.m. today at Roller Funeral Home.

Interment will be at Pilgrim's Rest Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to Pilgrim's Rest Cemetery Fund.

Arrangements are by Roller Funeral Home.
