Barnie J. Dickson, 77, Gentry, died Dec. 6 at Siloam Memorial Hospital. Born Oct. 8, 1897, in Cherokee City, Ark., he was the son of Thomas Robert and Martha Mabel Oakes Dickson, was a member of Full Gospel Church and a retired farmer.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Media Dickson of the home; one son, Don R. Dickson, Gentry; two daughters, Mrs. Lois Jane Lamphear and Mrs. Jean Hughes, both of Gentry; two sisters, Mrs. Mary Cloud, Rocky Comfort, Mo., and Mrs. Martha Wolf, Niland, Calif.; and seven grandchildren.

Funeral services were held today at 2 p.m. at Wasson Memorial Chapel, with Eider Forrest F. John and Elder Karl H. McBride officiating. Burial was in Dickson Cemetery under direction of Wasson Funeral Home of Siloam Springs.
