MAXWELL, Betty Louise - The 18 months old daughter, Betty Louise, of Mr. and Mrs. Earl Maxwell, living near Pea Ridge, died Friday last week from strangulation. In play on the floor of the family home the child supposedly placed an object in its mouth and swallowed it, causing strangulation. She was rushed to a Pea Ridge doctor and later to a Rogers physician but the baby died before the object could be removed. The accident happened at the home of her grandfather, Jim Price, on Pea Ridge where her mother and Betty were visiting that afternoon. Funeral services were held at the home Saturday afternoon, the Rev. W.O. Felts, pastor of the Nazarene Church, conducting the services. Burial was made in the Dug Hill cemetery.
