Orville William Ash, 72, 405 N. Arkansas St., Rogers, died April 10 at his home. Born Feb. 27, 1906, at Mondale, he was the son of Allen and Josephine Haddock Ash and a member of Rogers Assembly of God. He was a retired employee of Rogers Street Department.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Dora Dean Ash of the home; four sons, Howard Ash of Pea Ridge, Kenneth Ash of Rogers, Don Ash of Rossville, Ill., and Ronald Ash of Springdale; one daughter, Mrs. Doris Ward of Rogers; one brother, Fay Ash of Eureka Springs; two sisters, Mrs. Florence Capps of Eureka Springs and Mrs. Grace Martin of Garfield; 11 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Rogers chapel of Burns Funeral Home with the Rev. Don Smothers officiating. Burial will be in Ruddick's Cemetery under the direction of Burns. Visitation hours will be 6-8 p.m. today in the Rogers chapel.

ROGERS — Dora Dean Maxwell, 85, of Rogers died Oct. 6, 2005. She was born Feb. 6,1920, in Rogers to William Henry and Nora Catherine Myers. She enjoyed music, gardening and arts and crafts. She was preoeded in death by her husbands, Orville Ash, and Earl MaXwell, and one son, Howard Dean Ash.

Survivors include three sons, Kenneth Ash of Pea Ridge, Donald Ash of Bethel Heights and Ronald Ash of Rogers; one daughter, Doris Varnell and husband Ken of Avoca; one brother, Harold Myers of Pea Ridge; two sisters, Izella Hendricks of Marysville, Calif. and Hazel Clanton of Bakersfield, Calif,; 12 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Rollins Funeral Home in Rcgers with Robert Ward officiating.

Burial will be in Ruddick Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Bradford House.
