Doyce L. Smith, 87 of Almond died Wednesday, July 4, 2018. He was born October 3, 1930 at Almond, Arkansas. He was a farmer and a member of the Desha Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his wife of 65 years, Wanda Cannon Smith; four sons, Doyce Eldon Smith (Julie) of Drasco, Melvin Smith (Jennie) of Batesville, Delvin Smith (Cindy) of Drasco and K.D. Smith (Patty) of Almond; one daughter, Lawanda Donahue (Dan) of Almond; 7 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Graveside services will be held Friday, July 6, 2018 at 3:30 p.m. at the Macedonia Cemetery in the Five Mile Community with Larry Sellers officiating. Arrangements by Qualls Batesville Funeral Service of Batesville.

Wanda Lou Smith, 89, of Almond passed away Friday June 7, 2024 in Batesville. She was born January 10, 1935 in Drasco to Tom Cannon and Irene Liles Cannon. She was a homemaker, and a member of First Baptist Church of Concord. Wanda enjoyed gardening, canning, cooking, playing bingo, and spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her husband of over 60 years, Doyce Smith; her parents, and one sister, Dorothy Wells.
Survivors include four sons, K.D. Smith (Patty) of Almond, Delvin Smith (Cindy) of Drasco, Eldon Smith of Drasco, Melvin Smith (Jennie) of Batesville; one daughter, LaWanda Donahue (Dan) of Almond; seven grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren, and three great-great grandchildren; two special nephews, Loy Wells, Jr (Pauline) of Quitman and Larry Wells (Deloris) of Drasco.
Graveside services will be Wednesday, June 12, 2024 at 10 am at Macedonia Cemetery in Drasco with Bro. Larry Sellers officiating.
