Gary Evans, Jr., 44, died August 4, 2017. He was a resident of Longmeadow Nursing Home. Gary was preceded in death by a sister, Michelle Lynn Evans; his grandparents, C. E. and Catherine Evans; his grandfather, William Alton Wedgeworth and a grandmother, Ladeene Cole. He is survived by his parents, Gary A. Sr. and Helen Lois Wedgeworth Evans as well as several aunts and uncles.
Proctor Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. The family will receive friends at the funeral home 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Saturday, August 5, 2017. Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday at Evans Cemetery.
