Funeral services for Edd Herchel Evans, 51 of Bearden who died Wednesday in a Fordyce hospital will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at the Bearden Missionary Baptist Church. Burial will be in the New Home Cemetery near Hampton. Mr. Evans was an employe of the Bagpak Division of International Paper Company and was a member of the Bearden Missionary Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Betty Jones Evans, two daughters, Mrs. Ben T. Oliver and Doris Ann Evans of Bearden; three brothers, James and Carl of Fort Worth and Hoy of Camden; three sisters, Mrs. Ray Harrell of North Little Rock, Mrs. C. L. Smitherman of Fort Worth and Mrs. Roy Chambliss of Bearden. (Camden News - December 28, 1967)
