Mrs. Lucille Thompson was born on April 11, 1935 to Ellis Willis and Annie B. Champion-Willis in El Dorado, AR. On Tuesday March 27, 2018 at the White County Medical Center in Searcy, Arkansas, she departed from her earthly home to her heavenly home.

She was the youngest of six children. She worked at the Medical Center of South Arkansas as a Home Health Nurse for thirty-nine years. She is a member of Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church. She loved to cook and was known through-out the community as a helping hand to everyone.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister: Annie W. Holly; six brothers: Conway Willis, John Carl Willis, Ellis Willis, Elmer Willis, Billy Lunsey and Gilly Lunsey.

~SHE LEAVES TO CHERISH HER MEMORIES~
One son: Rodney Holmes of El Dorado, Arkansas; One daughter: Robin E Shelton (Leroy) of El Dorado, AR; Five grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren; a special sister-in-law Billie D. Willis and a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held on Monday, April 2, 2018 at 11:00 A.M at the Shiloh Baptist church in Strong, AR.

Visitation will be from 10 until service time at the church.

Burial will follow in the Batts Chapel Church Cemetery under the direction of Mitchell Memorial Funeral Service of Crossett, AR. (Mitchell Funeral Home - Crossett, Arkansas)
