GARFIELD — Mr. Robert "Bob" Beck, age 86, of Garfield, Ark., passed away, Friday, Jan. 20, 2017, at Circle of Life Hospice in Bentonville, Ark. Bob made his debut April 22, 1930, near Hunton, Iowa.
He was eldest of four children and preceded in death by sister, Delores (Jaminet), Brother, Ronald and Larry. Son of Walter and Edith (Johnson) Beck.
Survived by his loving wife, Eva Jean, of 56 years, son, Ed (Anne), grandchildren, Zachariah (Vanessa), Yancey (Michelle), Amy, Ashley (Josh) and nine great-grandchildren, Lucy, Franky, Theresa, Owen, Bryce, Noah, Jackson and Sarah.
Bob survived 37 cold winters in Minneapolis, Minn., before bringing his bride to their dream home in Garfield, Ark. He was an active member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church and a member of FOE. Upon retirement he enjoyed sharing his train set with great-grandchildren creating things from wood and clothespins. Spent evenings enjoying the hummingbirds and feeding "Foxy" off the back deck. Bob always had a joke ready to make you laugh. His love for family and friends will be cherished and missed.
Visitation will be 5-7 p.m., Sunday, Jan. 22, 2017, at Benton County Memorial Park Funeral Home. The family will also receive friends Monday, Jan. 23, at 9:30-10:30 a.m. prior to the service.
Funeral Service will be held 10:30 a.m., Monday, Jan. 23, 2017, at Benton County Memorial Park Funeral Home, with Pastor Gordon Basel officiating burial will follow in Benton County Memorial Park Cemetery. ROGERS — Eva Jean Beck, 83 years of age, passed away January 24, 2020. Eva was born February 28, 1936 in Moorehead, Iowa to parents Loyle Franklin LaSeur and Donna Evon Smith LaSeur. She was united in marriage to Robert Beck on November 22, 1960 in Beardsford, S.D. They enjoyed many years of marriage. She worked for many years as a Key Punch Operator and later for Walmart. Eva was a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Rogers. She was also a member of Eastern Star Lodge 295 and the Fraternal Order of Eagles.
Eva was preceded in death by her husband and parents.
She is survived by her son, Ed Beck of Evansville, Ark.; grandsons, Zach Beck of Morrilton, Ark, and Yancey Beck of Northbranch, Minn.; brother, Robert LaSeur and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral Services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Wednesday at Benton County Memorial Park Funeral Home of Rogers.
A Visitation is scheduled for 5-7 p.m. Tuesday evening. Arrangements are with Benton County Memorial Park Funeral Home, 3800 W. Walnut, Rogers.
