Lynda S. Beck, 64, of Colcord, Oklahoma died Friday, November 1, 2013 in her home. Born July 2, 1949 in Siloam Springs, Arkansas she was the daughter of Raymond and Edith Pope Harrison. She lived all her life in the Colcord area. She and Roger Beck were married August 7, 1965 in Stilwell, Oklahoma. Lynda was the Food Service director for the Colcord Public Schools before retiring.
She was preceded in death by one sister.
Survivors include husband Roger of the home; daughter Sherry Lowery and husband Gary of Decatur, Arkansas; son Scott Beck of Colcord, Oklahoma; sister Patsy Morris of Siloam Springs, Arkansas; four grandchildren Tyler Beck, Brad Hendren, Brandi Hendren and Brian Hendren and two great grandchildren Bailey Hendren and Payton Hendren.
Memorial services will be 2:00 p.m., Thursday, November 7, 2013 at Wasson Memorial Chapel with Mr. Larry Ellis officiating. Burial of ashes will follow at Dickson Cemetery, Cherokee City, Arkansas.
