Imogene Keen, age 94, of Fayetteville passed away Saturday February 19, 2022. She was born April 14, 1927 in Witter, Arkansas to Lee and Sophia Hoskins Samples. She was a faithful Christian and a member of Baldwin Church of Christ for many years. Education was one of her primary interests throughout life and she obtained her BS in Education at the University of Arkansas in 1976 and Master of Education in 1989.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Roy Richard Keen; three sons, Herbert L. Keen, J. Stephen Keen and James M. Keen, and granddaughter Randon Keen.

She is survived by her daughter, Rhonda Keen and her husband George N. Payne of Fort Worth, Texas; son, R. Michael Keen and his wife Melody of Goshen; four grandchildren, Amanda Keen-Zebert, Jacob M. Keen, William R. Payne, Trent L. Keen, and eight great-grandchildren. She is also survived by a sister Kathryn Edens.

Visitation will be 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm Monday February 28, 2022 at Moore's Chapel.

Funeral service will be 10:30 am Tuesday March 1, 2022 at Moore’s Chapel with burial to follow at Hester Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to Southern Christian Home, 100 West Harding Street, Morrilton, Arkansas 72110 with designation to the college scholarship fund and to Gospel Tracts International, 2125 N. Center St., Fayetteville, AR 72701.
