FAYETTEVILLE — Charles Edward Keen, 81, of Fayetteville passed away on May 1, 2013, at Willard Walker Hospice Home. He was born June 13, 1931, in Fayetteville, Ark., to William Herbert Keen and Anna Mae Cline Keen.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Roy Keen and William Keen.

Survivors include his wife of 46 years, Hazel Keen of the home; four daughters, Sharla Mills and husband, Ron, Kayla Mhoon and husband, Shane, both of Fayetteville, Sheri Milone and husband, Michael, of Placitas, N.M., and Tracy Shawhan and husband, Michael, of Houston, Texas; sister, Sue Witte of Fayetteville; brother, Robert Keen and wife, Earlene, of Fayetteville; grandchildren, Beau Mills, Brian Mhoon, Lacie Crider and her husband, Shawn, all of Fayetteville, Matt Shawhan and Grant Shawhan, both of Houston, Texas, and Brad Shawhan of Dallas, Texas; great-granddaughter, Addison Mhoon of Bentonville; and several other family members and friends.

The family will receive friends at Beard's Funeral Chapel, from 4 to 6 p.m. today, May 2, 2013.

A funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Rolling Hills Baptist Church with the Rev. Steve Sheely officiating.

Burial will be at Hester Cemetery under the direction of Beard's Funeral Chapel.

In lieu of flowers, the family would like memorials to be made to Willard Walker Hospice Home, 325 N. Longview, Fayetteville, AR 72703.
